Transplant. The etymological best fit for me is, I think, “agender.” While it falls under the umbrella of genderqueer, it doesn’t mean between genders, nor alternating; it’s not a third gender or a mix. It just means “not”–a hole–a gap in self-concept at the place where I found one in mine. It’s not a fixed point for me to align to, it’s a description of what I already am. And that, for once, feels right.

Because while you can personally decide that you LIKE seeing objectification of women in your comic books, and you can decide that you are quite content with the status quo, or that you don’t think it’s detrimental to women and it doesn’t bother you, the idea that women and men are treated visually the same in superhero comics is utter crap. In other words, “No, It’s Not Equal.”

Norming Access. Inaccessibility is the norm, right now. It’s assumed that all spaces are inaccessible until proven otherwise because this is usually the case. In fact, the reverse should be true; it should be highly abnormal for a space to be inaccessible, and it should be extremely unusual for someone to have an accommodation need that isn’t covered in routine site preparation.
Gay rights in the US, state by state. Gay rights laws in America have evolved to allow — but in some cases ban — rights for gay, lesbian and transgender people on a range of issues, including marriage, hospital visitation, adoption, housing, employment and school bullying. The handling of gay rights issues vary by state and follow trends by region.
Love & Marriage. One thing I love in a good SF story is ways of doing love, marriage, and romance that don't buy in to our society's idea of love+romance+sex+monogamy all on one single person as the only way to do it. I have a small collection of worlds that have come up with better ways, and I have a great deal of fun trying to fit the 'shipping debates from various fandoms into these other ways of looking at love. I especially love the way that many of them explicitly acknowledge the value of non-sexual, sometimes non-romantic, relationships that are of equal importance with the sexual ones.

К вопросу о гендерной нейтральности: распространение андроцентризма. ...Все это происходит не из-за различий между мужчиной и женщиной, но в силу того, что социальный мир организован таким образом, что перспектива в нем есть только у мужчин, что о нуждах мужчин автоматически заботятся, в то время как специфически женские нужды рассматриваются или как отдельные случаи, или вообще не принимаются во внимание. Цитата из Маккинон: "Фактически каждое качество, отличающее мужчину от женщины, положительно компенсируется обществом. Мужская физиология определяет большое количество видов спорта; их нужды определяют автострахование и страхование здоровья; их социально спроектированные биографии определяют требования к рабочим местам и образцы успешного продвижения карьеры; их перспективы и интересы определяют качества, необходимые для получения стипендий; их опыт и устремления определяют понятие заслуг; их видение мира определяет искусство; их военная служба определяет гражданство; присутствие их в семье определяет понятие "семья"; их невозможность жить друг с другом - их войны и их правления - определяют историю; их образ определяет бога; их гениталии определяют секс".

Главнейшие различия следующие: у низших классов когнитивная деятельность ориентирована на контекст, а эмоции и следующее из них поведение – на других вместо себя любимого, они познавательно и эмоционально зависимы. Напротив, у представителей высших классов когниции ориентированы на их собственное настроение и хотение, а не обстоятельства и контекст, а эмоции и следующее из них поведение - на себя вместо других, даже когда они взаимодействуют с другими.
